5 Prettiest Neutral Nail Colors

While I love wearing a bright color on my nails, every once in a while it’s nice to change things up with a soft, neutral color.

Sheer pinks and creams look beautiful on well-manicured nails. Not only do these shades make your nails look better, but it can help them avoid breakage. A few coats of nail polish help reinforce some “strength” in your nails, and if you aren’t big on wearing color, a  sheer neutral is a great alternative.

As far as selecting a hue for momentous occasions like getting married I’m always an advocate of wearing a soft pink shade. Trendy nails are going to come and go, and I don’t think grey or bold nails are going to be something to look back on and think, “I’m glad I wore that on my wedding day!”

A few of my top picks for neutral nails are below. When your are polishing with a sheer shade, it’s tempting to lay the product on thick. Try to avoid that as best you can, as that can lead to bubbling in the polish!
