The other day my daughter came home from school and announced she liked the brownies her friend’s mother had brought to school. I asked the mom what recipe she used and I was shocked when she told me they were black bean brownies. My daughter had never liked black beans until that moment! Then, I realized the black beans had been stirred into the chocolate and you couldn’t really taste them. While I am not one for sneaking food past my children the idea of sneaking healthy foods into chocolate is indeed intriguing.
