30 Minute Meal: Asian Inspired Ginger Turkey Sliders with Wasabi Mayo

Turkey Sliders

Everyone loves meals that we can get on the table in 30 minutes or less. Especially when  they’re tasty little morsels like these Asian inspired Ginger Turkey Sliders. They’re they perfect size for little hands, and chock full of grown up flavors that they’ll adore too.
These make 8 sliders or about 4 regular sized burgers if you prefer. I like to use 1/4 measuring cup so I know all of my sliders will be the same size {also ensuring they’ll cook at the same pace} I make these all year round indoors on my grill pan.

The bread is just as important to me as the filling, I love the taste of Sister Shubert Yeast Rolls but you can use any slider sized buns you like.

What you’ll need: {makes 8 sliders}
1 pound ground turkey
1 green onion chopped
1 clove fresh garlic minced
1”³ section of fresh ginger minced
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
Sister Schubert’s Dinner Yeast Rolls cooked according to directions
Lettuce to garnish- optional
Wasabi Mayo:
1/4 cup Mayonaise
1-2 teaspoons Wasabi Powder

What to do:
1. Into a ramekin place approximately 1/4 cup of mayonaise and 1-2 teaspoons of the wasabi powder to taste. Stir well to combine. Keep in mind  that the wasabi gets stronger the longer it sits. Place wasabi mayo into refrigerator to chill.

2. Cook rolls according to package directions.

3. In a large bowl, combine: turkey, onion, garlic and ginger. Season generously with salt and pepper. Add soy sauce. Mix together well (careful not to over mix or meat will be tough). You want the mixture to be a nice light brown color.

4. Spray a grill pan with cooking spray and place over medium heat. Form mixture into patties. When your pan is hot, add patties. Turn patties about 2 times until cooked through. Depending on the thickness of your patties this should only take about 4-5 minutes. Let patties rest for a few minutes before serving.

5.  To assemble: Cut rolls in half, add patty, garnish with wasabi mayo and lettuce if desired.
