We are back in action with school and I am grateful that vacation is over. We were all going a little stir crazy at the end! Before my daughter returned to school we went grocery shopping to restock the shelves with her favorite snacks and some great new lunch foods for the winter. I find that in the winter she prefers a change from her usual cold pasta salads and sandwiches. A lot of time I send warmer food to lunch with her in insulated boxes or bags and they are still warm by lunch time. Of course, I don’t go crazy making food that is over involved, but I still take the time to change it up. Here are a few of our favorite ideas for winter lunches. I hope they help inspire you for your lunchbox packing this winter!
