Don’t put away your slow-cooker yet! That’s right – it is actually possible to make delicious meals in your slow-cooker for summer. In fact,  sometimes I like to turn in my slow-cooker in the morning and let it cook away while the house is so cool. Then I simply place the insert in the fridge and reheat whatever I made for dinner that evening. Whether it is a main course like pulled pork for tacos, or a dessert like simple applesauce, there are many great things you can make in your slow-cooker during the summer months. Here are a few of our favorite!
