A Recipe for Two Cadbury Mini Egg BlondiesKelsey Banfield
In keeping with my baby weight loss goals I am working on only making two of everything sweet I want to eat. There is no better way to discourage overeating than by not having the offensive sweet in the house!! For Easter I would like an entire pan of blondies. However, since that isn’t possible, I’ll just make two. Of course, to celebrate I’ll plant a few Cadbury Mini Eggs in the middle and call it a day! Of course, if it isn’t Easter feel free to make them with chocolate chunks instead. They’ll turn out just as well!
Two Cadbury Mini Egg Blondies
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 large egg yolk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
10 Cadbury Mini Eggs
1. In a large bowl mix the butter and sugar together until smooth. Then add the egg yolk and vanilla extract. Next, stir in the flour and baking powder until evenly incorporated. Then, stir in the mini eggs.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan. Pour the batter into the pan and baking for about 20 to 22 minutes. Test with a cake tester to make sure they are done. Remove from oven and serve!
