Do you know what that is? It’s a caramel apple macaron. Not just any caramel apple macaron, a caramel apple macaron dipped in candy bar crumbles and filled with cinnamon apple butter buttercream. Oh dear.
There’s more. Acorn macarons with chocolate shavings. A whole Thanksgiving macaron wonderland can be had. And how incredibly cute is this turkey?
I was so excited when Amanda sent me a photo of her newest macaron creation. She’s been doing seasonal macs each month since we had our macaron-making session at the end of September for my cookbook along with her friend Stephanie from All Artful, who I met while I was down there just last month. Their cute confections are just adorable, and I’m so proud of them! See, macs are easy and fun! Who knew they could be so gosh darn adorable, too?
These Thanksgiving macarons are almost too cute to eat, except that with cinnamon apple butter buttercream, they sound too delicious not to eat. You can check out all of their Thanksgiving-themed macarons and get the recipe for the cinnamon apple butter buttercream, which sounds to die for over Kevin and Amanda and All Artful.
