We know, we know. It’s not even turkey day yet (check out this cranberry sauce recipe and a sweet potato casserole!), and here we are talking about Easter 2011. But you guys know how fast the holidays came this year, and soon enough we’ll be pulling out those little chocolate bunnies and complaining how summer is right around the corner! (Though does anyone really complain about warm weather and sunshine?) Get ready because Easter 2011 falls on April 24 this year — a little late, but with Prince William’s royal wedding — perhaps at Westminister Abbey — scheduled to fall the week after (exactly one week after Good Friday 2011), Easter 2011 is going to preclude what is sure to be a crazy month!
That said, we here at the Family Kitchen have been thinking about our Easter 2011 recipes (and maybe some Good Friday 2011 recipes for those of us who don’t eat meat that day)! Personally, I think these chili-lime deviled eggs are the perfect way to start off an Easter feast! Check out some more potential Easter 2011 recipes after the jump!
No better way to celebrate than with an earthy appetizer that is a perennial family-feast favorite!
Nothing says Easter like lamb, and nothing says easy cooking like the help of a crockpot!
Who could resist the springy look of these sure-to-please desserts?
What’s Easter without a little chocolate? And the green color makes it perfect for spring!
