Dining on the Dock of the Bay at Pier 39

We took the boys to San Francisco earlier this summer – a trip they won’t soon forget. One of their favorite destinations in the city was Pier 39 – one of the city’s best-known hubs and a great place to play, shop and eat. (Check out their live sea lion cam!) Pier 39 is known for serving up some great food – with fourteen full-service restaurants, you can enjoy everything from clam chowder to sushi, Italian, burgers, shrimp, salads, pizza and more. It’s kid-friendly, with stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco Bay – here’s the lowdown if a visit is in your travel plans.
