Mimosas really are a perfect drink for brunch. But when it’s Easter brunch and all the family is gathered around, it’s nice to be able to serve this fun cocktail to all the guests, no matter their age. Plus, if it’s fun for an adult to have a fizzy drink served in a fancy glass, you better believe it’s fun for kids, too!
Enter the virgin mimosa, which is incredibly easy to make and still delivers the bubbly, fruity flavor that goes so well with brunch. The kids and I have made them a few times and they love them. We even have a favorite combination of fizz and fruit (find out in the recipe below). My 6-year-old is such an expert she has started mixing the drinks on her own!
These pretty virgin mimosas are are bright and colorful, perfect for spring and a pretty Easter brunch. Cheers!
- 1 part Sprite (we have used ginger ale as well, but the flavor is more strong and our family prefers Sprite)
- 1 part orange juice OR half orange juice, half grapefruit juice (our family loves the orange-grapefruit combination the best!)
- Pour Sprite into a champagne flute, filling the glass to just under halfway. Add the juice and serve. It’s that easy!
