Some time ago while the hubs and I were in NYC we met up with some friends at the Rose Bar in the Gramercy Park Hotel. I ordered a grapefruit smash, and then another, and another… Thankfully this was over the course of several hours and with some food, but there was something about this drink that had me at hello. I asked what on earth was in it and it all seemed standard, all except for St Germain Elderflower. What was this sweet potion with which I’d fallen in love? As soon as we arrived back in LA I headed to the liquor store where I began experimenting and ordering St Germain cocktails every where we went. French 77 Mix
1 oz St Germain
1/4 ox fresh squeezed lemon
Champagne or sparkling alcoholic beverage of choice (sparkling wine, prosecco, cava)
Pour St Germain and lemon into a champagne flute, top of with champagne. Serve. Drink. Enjoy. Your Welcome. Happy New Years.
