Fresh In July: 25 Best Stone Fruit Recipes

I’ve been waiting all year for stone fruit season – you know those fleshy fruits with the big seed in the middle. The most popular of stone fruit are peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, and cherries. This time of year the flavors are amazing and immediately take me back to childhood and walking through the neighboring peach farm picking fresh peaches. We would bring home a bounty and eat them for days while canning and freezing as many as possible to save for the boring days of winter. Then we would move on to the cherry farm and climb the ladders to fill our buckets. My bucket never had more than 20 cherries because I couldn’t resist eating them all! If you’ve got an abundance of stone fruits this summer and are looking to make a delicious and memorable dish check out the 25 best recipes for peaches, cherries, plums, nectarines, and apricots.
