These Froot Loop Donuts Are Like a Childhood Dream We Didn’t Even Know We Had

There’s nothing quite like a big bowl of Froot Loops, is there? All that sugary, rainbow-colored goodness turning your cereal milk into … well, sugary, rainbow-colored goodness. What could be better?

Apparently, just one thing: Froot Loop Donuts, which have now been added to the secret menus at Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s — and let me tell you, each one is like a little bite of heaven.

For starters, the mini donuts come five to a box that in and of itself is pretty adorable:

Each one looks like a super-sized Froot Loop — which is basically the stuff of kid fantasies.

But here’s the best part: They literally smell like Froot Loops. Seriously, the second I opened the packaging, my childhood came flooding back in one big fruity whiff.

(Oh yeah, and they taste delicious, too!)

Will your kids be begging for them the second they learn of their existence? Yes. Will you be making secret trips to the nearest Carl’s Jr. or Hardee’s when they’re at school to eat your own box in peace? Also yes.

Here’s hoping some other cereal brands hop on the bandwagon soon, because I don’t know about you, but I would LOVE to get my hands on some Honey Nut Cheerios donuts — or better yet, how about some Cap’n Crunch-flavored ones? YUM.

Okay, I’m going to quit right there because I am already drooling at my desk.
