Auga! Auga! Auga! Some folks don’t realize just how easy it is to make aguas at home. I live for a nice iced agua. I buy them at my local farmers markets and keep an eye out for them at my favorite Mexican restaurants. When I entertain guests in my home I make sure to make a large batch of some type of refreshing agua for my friends to enjoy. If it’s not watermelon, then it’s agua de tamarindo, or melon. Here is a simple recipe that can be made in minutes. Enjoy!
Ingredients for Agua De Sandia:
- 8 – cups water
- 1 – cup sugar
- 10 – cups seedless watermelon (cut into chunks)
