“What was the Lorax?
And why was it there?
And why was it lifted and taken somewhere
from the far end of town where the Grickle-grass grows?
The Old Once-ler still lives here.
Ask him. He knows.”
Among Dr. Seuss’ beloved stories is that of the Lorax, the mysterious creature who “speaks for the trees.” His tale comes to life — in 3D nonetheless — thanks to Universal Pictures’ The Lorax movie, in theaters March 2.
While no one knows exactly what the Lorax is, one thing’s for sure: he’s bright orange. So to get your kids excited about the film’s release, we’ve rounded up a slideshow of the tastiest orange-colored recipes in honor of Dr. Seuss’ most eco-friendly character. Check them out after the jump! — Andrea Roxas
