As if it wasn’t already frustrating enough that your kids refuse to eat anything but mac and cheese, we’ve got even worse news: there could be metal bits in the cheesy noodles in your pantry.

Kraft Foods has recalled 242,000 cases (aka about 6.5 million boxes) of their super-popular original flavored Macaroni and Cheese Dinner.

Here are the facts, straight from Kraft

Which boxes are affected?

Avoid all 7.25-ounce sizes of the original flavor (including multi-packs). Affected boxes will expire between September 18, 2015 and October 11, 2015, and display code “C2.” To view the full list of affected boxes, click here.

Where were they sold?

Recalled product was shipped to the U.S., Puerto Rico, and some Caribbean and South American countries.

What should I do if I (yikes!) do have a box?

Step away from the macaroni, and return it to the store for an exchange or full refund. You can also contact Kraft Foods Consumer Relations at 1-800-816-9432 between 9 am and 6 pm (Eastern) for a full refund.
