Wild Blueberry Kick-Start Smoothie
Fresh-pressed juice of: 2 apples, 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, 1 lemon (see note below)
1 cup frozen wild blueberries
1 medium banana, frozen pref’d
1 tsp. cayenne
4 ice cubes, coconut water ice cubes pref’d
optional: 1 scoop veg-based protein powder
Blend until smooth. Add more ice for a thicker blend.
NOTE: If you do not have a juicer, use store-bought apple cider and squeeze 1 lemon by hand. Add peeled, minced ginger to blender.
