It’s October, which means Disney Channel is celebrating its yearly spooky lineup. Monstober brings classic Disney Halloween hits, as well as the Season 2 premiere of Descendants: Wicked World and new DCOM, The Swap.
Make it a movie night for the whole family. Pick your flick — from Monsters University to Twitches to Descendants — then make a themed treat. We’ve got you covered with enough spooky — yet satisfying — snacks to last you all Monstober long!
1. Monster’s University | Mike Wazowski Apple
Any excuse to see our favorite monster movie is fine with us! Chow down while watching Mike and Sulley’s college years with a healthy Mike Wazowski apple.

2. Toy Story 3 | Alien Avocado Toast
Any installment of the Toy Story trilogy is worth watching — that’s for sure! Your kids can munch on avocado toast that’s simply out of this world. An added bonus? The toast is shaped like their favorite little green guys! Oooooh!

3. Descendants | Heart-Shaped Dried Strawberries
There is something so catchy about the music in this new favorite. We’ll be paying tribute to Mal’s love of strawberries with this tasty recipe.
4. R.L Stine’s Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls | Monster S’mores
What’s more appropriate during the month of October than a scary, haunted carnival? In typical R.L Stine fashion, the carnival wants to feed off the souls of unwary teens … any turn them into monsters. Eek! We’re pairing this spooky tale with monster s’mores that promise to only fill your soul with chocolatey goodness.
5. Halloweentown | Witch Hat Cookies
Ah, there’s nothing quite like the classic movie Halloweentown. The fandom is so real you can even visit a recreation of the town in Oregon and meet Marnie herself! We’ll be taking our viewing party to the next level with these witch hat cookies that would certainly be Cromwell-approved.
6. Twitches | Italian Soda Bar
Our favorite twin witches learn about their powers and the joys of sisterhood whilst consistently carrying giant soda cups. We can’t help but crave some of our own, which is why we’ll be sipping along as we watch this festive flick.
7. Twitches Too | Crescent Moon Cookies
Alex and Camryn are back at it in this magical sequel. We have serious jewelry envy over their powerful amulets, which are shaped like a crescent moon and sun. Use that as inspiration for baking up some delicious crescent moon cookies. We promise your kids will help create the shape — with one bite!
8. My Babysitter’s a Vampire | Vampire Pumpkin Donuts
While we certainly wouldn’t want to find out that our children’s babysitter was actually a bloodsucking vampire, we’re always in favor of watching this Disney Channel Original Movie. These pumpkin spice donuts, complete with vampire fangs, make for the perfect spooky evening.

9. Spooky Buddies | Bone Breadsticks
Who’s ready for an adventure?! If your kids are a little too young for semi-scary movies, Spooky Buddies will lead the way for your Monstober marathon. An added bonus? Snack on these bone-shaped breadsticks.
