The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipes EVER 1 of 7
These are my most favorite chocolate chip recipes ever! Enjoy!
The Perfect Cookie 2 of 7
The "official" name for this cookie is chocolate chunk coconut oatmeal cookies. But that's a mouthful, so I just like to refer to them as "the perfect cookie." Because they kind of are. They are of the crispy-chewy variety, filled with all kinds of goodies that give the cookies great texture.
Milk Bar Cookies 3 of 7
These cookies also have a more official, long, boring name cornflake-chocolate-chip-marshmallow cookies. But the recipe comes from The Milk Bar in New York City, so our family just calls them Milk Bar cookies. For real, these cookies are AMAZING. The marshmallows give them such amazing texture and the cornflake crunch that goes into the dough really sets these cookies apart.
The New York Times Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe 4 of 7
I have very mixed feelings about this recipe. It is somewhat inconsistent. Sometimes it just doesn't come out. I mean, they are still good even when they aren't perfect. But when they DO come out, this recipe makes the quintessential chocolate chip cookie. The exact perfect texture and flavor that a chocolate chip cookie is supposed to have.
Alice’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever 5 of 7
My friend Alice was bragging on Instagram one day that her chocolate chip cookie recipe was the best one ever. Of course I had to try her recipe. And, you know what? I think Alice just might be right. The final result is very similar to the New York Times recipe, but I find Alice's recipe to be more reliable. And, I don't know how she does it, but you can bake the cookies right away and they still come out wonderfully. (I'm a firm believer in refrigerating the dough before baking...Alice must use black magic or something.)
Chocolate Chip Amish Puff Cookies 6 of 7
I love this recipe because it is VERY RELIABLE. The cookies always come out. And they are little, mini cookies of delight. Plus, I love the hint of cinnamon. So good.
Crispy Crunch Chocolate Chip Cookies 7 of 7
This recipe is sort of a combination of "The Milk Bar" cookie and "The Perfect Cookie" recipes, and when those two recipes come together, it is magical, I tell ya. This recipe is the result of my quest to replicate a cookie I loved at a local cafe. Nailed it.
