The Easiest Dessert Ever: Pot de CremeBrooke McLay
It sounds all fancy, on account of its French name an all, but Pot de Creme (little pots of creamy chocolate) are surprisingly simple to make. If you have a blender, microwave, and…well…chocolate and cream, you’re just fifteen minutes away from this rich, mousse-y treat coming straight out of your fridge and right into your mouth. It’s gorgeous, it’s glorious, and no one will believe you when you tell them how simple it was to pull these gourmet desserts together!
Simple Pot de Creme
- 1 1/2 cups very dark chocolate chips
- 3 egg yolks, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
Heat dark chocolate chips in microwave until melted. Pour smooth, melted chips directly into a blender over egg yolks. Turn blender on low and add sugar, cream, and milk. Turn blender to high and blend until totally pureed. Transfer immediately to little glass pots or ramekins. Refrigerate until completely cool. Serve topped with a dollop of cream and a silver spoon. Enjoy!
