Most people make this traditional fruit salad with canned fruit cocktail, and even though I do use very little canned fruit in mine, the beauty of this Ambrosia Salad is fresh fruit, and lots of it. Once mixed with the creamy sauce and marshmallows you have the ideal salad for the kiddies and adults alike.
