The kickoff to the Super Bowl will be at 6:30 on the FOX channel this year. Be ready with all your snacks and in front of the T.V. before 6:30 though, you won’t want to be late for this incredible super bowl between the Packers and Steelers. If you are looking for the perfect guacamole dip recipe to snack on while you watch the game tonight, here it is. This classic guacamole dip will be perfect for your Super Bowl party. You can add a little more heat to this recipe by adding 1 tablespoon chopped jalapeno or serrano chiles. Just remember when picking your avocados from the store to get ripe ones. Ripe avocados are the key to the perfect guacamole dip. Check for ripeness by squeezing them, there should be a little give to their skins.
4 ripe, Fresh California Avocados, seeded and peeled
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tomato, finely chopped
¼ cup finely chopped onion
0.125 â…› tsp. ground cumin
3 drops hot pepper sauce
Using a fork, coarsely mash avocado with lemon juice and garlic.
Stir in remaining ingredients to blend.
