This makes me so sad. This group of gorgeous, talented, charismatic, smart women who – in the past – have let the pressures of show business and society get to them,  where they have gone to extremes to be thin.

From bulimia that lasted for decades to severe cases of anorexia to abusing diet pills, these 23 women (and moms)  all have struggled with a variety of eating disorders. Luckily, most of them have survived and are now healthy. And many of them are openly sharing their stories, to educate other women on the dangers of desperately trying to be unnaturally thin. Let’s hope they are passing this message on to their children.

The newest victim is mom Demi Moore, whose alarming weight loss worried many even before she collapsed on Tuesday night.  Check out these twenty-two other woman who battled with eating disorders.

There are lots of people who want to help and you really CAN'T fight this one on your own.
