Rosetta Getty must be one super patient and understanding woman for taking back her husband, Balthazar Getty after his highly public affair with actress Sienna Miller. He definitely wasn’t shy about hiding his affections for her, that’s for sure.
Rosetta told Harper’s Baazar that she took her cheating husband back because she thought that staying apart would be “too crushing for her children.” She also added that she knows that she “will have to explain this to her daughters someday.”
In the interview, Balthazar said that he ended things with Sienna Miller because he “loved and missed his family too much not to make it work.”
Is it me, or does it seem like Mr. Getty got to have his cake and eat it too?
It’s all well and good that they want to keep their family in tact, but what kind of example are Balthazar and Rosetta setting for their kids?
On the one hand, the kids could view their parents getting back together as a real lesson in forgiveness and unconditional love. But the flip side of the coin is that their dad’s affair may teach them that you can break the rules…and get away with it.
I wonder if Rosetta will take him back if he strays from the marriage again?
