Celebs Make Becoming a Mom after 40 Look Easy! But, We Don't Think So!shellthings
Celebrities can make anything look easy, can’t they? Check out the list of celeb moms who got pregnant after 40.
Being a new mom is hard at any age, but you can face more challenges as you get older. Yet, if you look at celeb moms, having a newborn after age 40 doesn’t seem like a big deal.
I’d like to call b.s. on that one. And so does Lela Davidson, the author of the hilarious new book “Blacklisted from the PTA,” which releases on July 12. You can’t help but laugh as she points out the challenges being an older mom can bring and how celebs aren’t dealing with the same reality the rest of us are.
Naomi Watts 1 of 5"Gorgeous Naomi Watts gave birth to a second son at age forty. She claims to have lost all her baby weight breastfeeding. I'm sure it had nothing to do with her live-in personal chefs and trainers." -Blacklisted from the PTA
Rachel Griffiths 2 of 5"She's pregnant with her third baby and like our homegrown celebs, she has a penchant for unique names. She already named one son Banjo. Let's hope age has wised her up. If not, she may end up with a cute little Fiddle or Harmonica." -Blacklisted from the PTA
Marcia Cross 3 of 5"Desperate Housewife Marcia Cross gave birth to twin daughters at age forty-five. Seriously? At least she'll be able to use her AARP travel discount to take them on their senior trip." -Blacklisted from the PTA
Stephanie Seymour 4 of 5"Supermodel Stephanie Seymour had another baby at forty. Paparazzi caught her frolicking in the surf. Is it wrong to hate her? There's not enough Pilates in the world to get me into a bikini post-childbirth- and I started young." -Blacklisted from the PTA
Lisa Marie Presley 5 of 5"She welcomed twin girls at age forty. She had the foresight to birth two other children sixteen and nineteen years ago, so now she's got live-in childcare. Now that's planning ahead." -Blacklisted from the PTA
