Honey Boo Boo and Family Say "Thank You" to Their Fans! (Photos)

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and her family sure know how to “redneckognize” their fans!

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was an instant hit from the moment it was launched on TLC, and even now that the first season is over, people can’t stop talking about the show or its stars. Sure, it has its critics – watching mud bogging, kiddie pageants and Redneck Games isn’t everyone’s cup of tea – but it has a large and devoted following of fans, too.

Folks from all over have been sending fan mail to Alana and her family – “Mama” June Shannon, Mike (“Sugar Bear”) Thompson, Anna (“Chickadee”), Jessica (“Chubbs”) and Lauryn (“Pumpkin”). Some of them even include little presents or a few dollars (because as true fans know, a dolla’ makes Honey Boo Boo holla’!).

The Shannon/Thompson clan is so grateful for the support that they spent an entire evening taking pictures of the letters and gifts they recently received and posting them to Alana’s official Facebook page.  June made sure to include the names and hometowns of every single sender.

All that loot could easily fill their little Georgia home to the brim. But most of it won’t be staying for long. June says that the money and toys will be donated to the Wilco Luvs Kids Christmas drive so that children in need can enjoy a happy holiday. “Every dollar helps, and every dollar is appreciated!” she says.

Say what you will about this mama’s looks, weight, ‘sketti recipes and bingo habit – you can’t deny that she’s raising her kids right when it comes to respecting their fans.
