When it comes to Teresa Giudice, she’s got either her die-hard Team Teresa fans and…. everyone else. Now, I’m sure there’s a lot that can be said about Teresa, but when it comes to being a mom to her four kids, there are certain things that she’s doing great. In fact, I would even say it’s fantastic.
The one thing that I really admire about the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is her very strong need to pass down her Italian heritage to her four daughters. Speaking fluent Italian herself (and being a great Italian cook, too!), Teresa gave her daughters Gia, Gabriella, and Milania their first Italian lesson on a recent episode of their hit Bravo show. Now, it didn’t come out the way that Teresa has probably hoped for, but I really admire her effort in trying to teach her children to be bilingual. It’s not only a great way to allow her children to become even closer to their grandparents, but understanding your culture gives you a better understanding of who you are, too.
I definitely give Teresa a big A+ here for doing her best to teach her children the importance of learning a second language. Check out the video below and tell us, is your family bilingual? And if so, what languages do you speak at home?
