So what’s wrong with naming your child plain old Tom? Nothing, as long as you’re not a celebrity. If you’re a star, you have to give your baby a strange name. It’s a law. And since Marissa Ribisi (celebrity) married Beck Hansen (celebrity), and Ribisi is also the twin sister of Giovanni Ribisi (celebrity), I guess that makes their baby name three times as odd.
Now you may not remember Marissa by name, but you probably recognize her face here on the left from 17 years ago she was the red-haired girl in “Dazed and Confused.”
Beck, of course, is the singer behind ’90s slacker anthem “Loser.”

Marissa and Beck named their first child Cosimo Henri, which is a family name of the Medici family of Italy. He was born in 2004.
Their other child is named Tuesday. Apparently no middle name for this one Tuesday is enough.
Perhaps this has some sort of Scientology connection? Marissa and Beck are both Scientologists (and so is Giovanni, for that matter), but I’m not, so I couldn’t really say.
Here are some other Hollywood children that Cosimo and Tuesday can play with/commiserate with (celeb parent in parentheses):
Pilot Inspektor (Jason Lee)
Kal-El (Nicolas Cage)
Kyd (David Duchovny and Tea Leoni)
Sage Moonblood (Sylvester Stallone)
Memphis Eve (Bono)
