Fun Facts

  • Most embarrassing parenting moment:

All of the countless times one of my kids asks if a woman is pregnant (to her face or within earshot), when she’s not, when they tell people they have large heads or that they have bad breath, etc. Basically, the lack of a social filter.

  • Something I hide from my kids:

The good chocolate, the Apple TV remote and the truth about Santa.

  • The one piece of advice I’d give to a new parent:

Give up the expected in life and be ready to never know what’s coming next. And prepared to be loved like you’ve never been loved before.

On The Hunt For The Perfect DIY Toddler Beds & Reading Nooks
The coming of spring always launches me into a flurry of cleaning, organizing, gardening plans and selecting a few choice projects to do in and around the home over the spring and summer months. I'm slowly starting to wean myself away from harbouring far too many grand ideas in my mind, because that just leads to disappointment. First up on the calendar? Toddler beds. Help me choose which projects to tackle or be inspired for into doing one of your own!
