12 Barbecue Host Gifts Under $25

It’s grilling season — my favorite time of year. And not just because it’s the hubby’s turn to cook!

Summer brings people out into the open again. Neighborhood walks, summer picnics, family cookouts … We’re out of hibernation and social again.

We just came home from a weekend with my family, complete with 4 hours at Grandma’s pool. This weekend we’ll visit his family at their lake house, complete with several outdoor meals. And next week is a big poolside shindig for Independence Day!

We’re all about the grill these days.

If you have as many barbecues to attend as we do, the host gifts can really add up. Plus, it gets a little tricky when your host is a guy (or a couple!). Here are 12 gifts for the grill master in your life that won’t break the bank:

  • Flirty Aprons, $25.95 1 of 12
Okay, so that's slightly over $25. But, use coupon code FATHER30, and you'll save 30% on any purchase this month. That makes these super hot grilling aprons less than $20!

  • Sports Branding Iron, $18.99 2 of 12
Choose from one of many team logos to give your steaks and burgers a fun, unique look. I didn't see any Indiana sports on the list, so I went with NC in honor of my cousins.

  • Homemade Sauce 3 of 12
Sauces, rubs, and spices would be a great gift for a BBQ — make your own for a personal touch! I probably already have most of these ingredients in the pantry already.

  • BBQ Tool Belt, $24.95 4 of 12
This tool belt holds spices, condiments, and grilling tools right at your fingertips! I think I could get the hubby into one of these a little easier than an apron.
    Purchase from Overstock
  • Man Candles, $1.99-$27.99 5 of 12
Candles are a long standing tradition in hostess gifts, but now they come in dude scents for the guy in your life. Yankee Candle has just released a line of candles for men, including Riding Mower, 2x4, First Down, and Man Town. I don't even know what that means, but I think the hubby needs it.

  • Condiment Picnic Table, $14.99 6 of 12
Bring the condiments for the tabletop in this fun picnic table holder! It includes a spot for 2 condiments, salt, and pepper at just $14.99. This is right up my mom's alley — I may have to pick it up before the 4th of July.
Purchase from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
  • Dollar Spot Basket, $4 7 of 12
The Target dollar spot or your local dollar store can be a great source of fun, inexpensive gift basket fillers. Target changes their items frequently and currently carries hot dog holders, corn plates, and burger baskets. We have a set of each — plus the popcorn buckets!
  • Grilling Cupcakes 8 of 12
Bring dessert in a fun design perfect for your next barbecue. Grills, burgers, and corn on the cob would be an awesome treat. Fun, festive, and super creative!

  • Lemonade Kit, $15 9 of 12
What goes better with a summer cookout than lemonade? Add the ingredients and a recipe to a nice pitcher, complete with a wooden spoon and dish towel. This would be awesome for a family cookout — maybe you'll even inspire a budding entrepreneur to start a lemonade stand.

  • BBQ Blitz, $19.52 10 of 12
Summer barbecues were made for outdoor games (cornhole is a favorite around here!), but bring along this BBQ game for indoor fun all year long. Bring a new game to play, and my girls will be your friends for life.
    Purchase from WayFair
  • Propane Tank Wrap, $9.95 11 of 12
I kinda love the idea of decorating our propane tank! I've seen sports logo covers and bbq tools, but this one is a new one to me. Get one of several team tank wraps for just $9.95.
    Purchase from Football Fanatics
  • Accessory Organizer, $20.98 12 of 12
I have never seen a barbecue tool organizer so, well, organized! There's a place for everything on this handy rack — tools, paper towels (or, I'm thinking foil!), spices, and more can be stored on a grill or picnic table.
