10 Amazing DIY Headboard Projects

When I finished up grad school the first thing on my must-have list was a real bed. No more metal frame sans headboard pushed up against the wall. So I went out with my roommate in tow and bought the most amazing bed. It was my graduation present to myself. It also cost me a huge chunk of change. While I still use (and love) that same bed today, I find myself continually inspired by all of the creative ways people create DIY headboards to bring that same sense of style to their bedroom at a fraction of the price. If I were to do it all over again today, I’d definitely go the DIY route. So if you’re in the same metal frame boat or just feel ready to shake things up with your bedroom decor, here are 10 amazing DIY headboard projects!
