Turn a Tea Light into This Adorable Olaf Ornament

This season, bring some holiday cheer to your friends, family, or those in need — with this Olaf ornament!

Teach your little ones about giving back by crafting this ornament together, made from a tea light and a few supplies from around the house. Then spread the joy to your local community!

Simply tie the adorable ornament to a nonperishable food drive donation, use it to wrap a gift for a family in need through an adopt-a-family program, or give it all by itself with some kind words and holiday greetings. 

Olaf Tea Light Ornament


  • Tea light
  • Pen 
  • Black paint
  • Small paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Brown paper
  • Hot glue
  • Ribbon


  1. Start by drawing Olaf’s eyes, eyebrows, and mouth with a pen, using the “flame” as his nose.

  2. Paint over these lines with black paint so he really stands out.

  3. Cut out his hair from brown paper and glue to the top of his head.

  4. Cut decorative ribbon, loop, and glue to the back. (Make sure you don’t glue it down over the on/off switch. The best place is on top of where the battery goes, so you can still change it out).
