OttLite Review and Giveawaycraftyamy
Do you know about OttLite? I’ve been a fan of this company for years – so I’m going to rave about them for a second. OttLite makes full-spectrum lighting that essentially brings high definitely natural lighting indoors. If you are a crafter, DIYer, home decor enthusiast or really anyone who does detail work under a lamp, then you NEED an OttLite.
The key to an OttLite being so amazing is the 508 Technology. Ordinary household lighting can be harsh on your eyes – it can cause headaches and eye fatigue from squinting. OttLites emit light at the perfect frequency for close-up work, combining contrast and brightness in just the right balance. This makes seeing easier and more comfortable, and color matching is a breeze. Want to see my review and WIN an OttLite worth $130? Continue on through the jump!
This is the OttLite that I recently received and reviewed – the Dove Gray floor lamp. This is my first OttLite floor lamp. I also have the Tulip desk lamp and the POD lamp. I was stoked to get a floor lamp because though I love my table lamps, I needed something to illuminate a larger area AND that I could use while sitting on the couch.
I received my lamp in the mail. Whee!! I love new stuff.
If you are wondering if it’s difficult to put together, you can see above that I’m doing the one step required. Simply screw in the base with the provided tool.
Here is the OttLite illuminating my messy craft area (table). Uh-oh, the secret is out. My apartment is a craftastrophe right now. But look how the OttLite is lighting up most of my big table!
Here’s a picture taken with the OttLite on and no camera flash. It’s completely illuminating my work surface! The OttLite is also showing the natural color of my paints so that, if I want to do any color matching, it’s easy. And NO eye strain. As I said, I’ve used these lamps for years. You are going to LOVE OttLite!
