5 Reasons to Visit Disneyland Before the End of SummerSunny Chanel
I am so excited. Why? Because right before our summer comes to an end and my daughter heads back to school we are going to make a very special pilgrimage. We’re going to Disneyland! Making this trip, about 412 miles from our home, is a perfect way to celebrate the end of summer vacation, a way to end the season with a bang, and making those memories that will last a lifetime. Plus there’s turkey legs and Dole Whips. So not that you’d need a reason to go to Disneyland, anytime is the perfect time, here are five reasons to go now before summer ends!
5 Reasons to Go to Disneyland Before the Summer Ends! 1 of 6
Like you need a reason to go to Disneyland, but just in case, here are 5 reasons to go to the "happiest place on earth" before summer ends!
Go on Your Favorite Rides! 2 of 6
Going on your favorite ride before having to go back to the daily grind is one way to have a seriously awesome adventure. One of my favorites is, of course, Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. And the good folks at Disneyland just made a super cool enhancement to the beginning of the ride. As Disney Parks says, "you will never look at Mara the same way again." Yes, I am intrigued as you are!
Avoid the Crowds! 3 of 6
Here something to think about, schools in California (and all over the nation these days) go back in session in the middle of August. And when kids are in school you know where they are not? In the parks! I'm lucky, my daughter doesn't go back until after Labor Day, but even if your child is back in the books, the weekends - generally - are far tamer than the mid summer months when families are out having fun on a daily basis. I, for one, am looking forward to a mellow couple of days in the Magic Kingdom.

Now is a perfect time to go check out the brand new show at Disneyland, the stunning, and very entertaining, Mickey and the Magical Map. Why? Check out these five reasons right here!
Last Chance… 6 of 6
It will be your last chance to experience some of the summer fun that Disneyland has going on. Right now there are extended hours after dark, a perfect time to see the "Magical" fireworks, or perhaps take a nice stroll down Main Street or Buena Vista Street. And after Labor Day, both Woody's All American Roundup and Dancin' with Disney will be closing. And you don't want to miss meeting Mike Wazowski and Sulley all dressed up in their Monsters University school colors at Disney California Adventure park through September 2. So now, now is the time!
