Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story – A Disney Short Film

Sometimes you find love in the most unexpected places. This is definitely one of those times. We’re talking about Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story a new short film which debuts this month from Disney Shows. The trailer came out last year, but the film is about to be released online. The story of Blank and Bow is about two Vinylmations who find something in each other that some people search for all their lives, love and acceptance.

In search of his lost soulmate, an unpainted Vinylmation finds himself on a quest that alters the destiny of his entire world. Blank is an epic adventure in miniature scale, a completely original, heartwarming love story filmed entirely in practical stop motion.

At last year’s D23 Expo, we got to peek into Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story, which premieres online this month. Other exciting news, you can be the first to see the short film in its entirety on the big screen at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Blank will be screened for a special limited run from February 14-20 following “Lady and the Tramp.” A heartwarming story of love and friendship, it’s the perfect way for Disney fans to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

When we saw the trailer we got all choked up. This love story is surprisingly emotional. These characters although they do not talk, actually speak volumes. Blank is beautifully done with so much creativity. This story is about what we all are looking for to find a place where we belong and to have unconditional love no matter what our differences. We also got a chance to see the characters and some of the set up close and purchased our own set of Blank and Bow Vinylmations.
