A new captain is joining the Disney Magic crew!

As announced on the Disney Parks Blog, Captain America will be making appearances on board the Disney Magic in Marvel’s Avengers Academy starting this October.

Part of Disney Cruise Line’s reimagineering project for the Disney Magic, the Academy will be housed within the super cool, technologically awesome Oceaneer Club, offering kid recruits multi-day “training” and superhero missions set in the Marvel Universe.

Captain America will be just one of five “captains” on the Disney Magic, joining pixie-dusted forces with Captain Mickey, Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Hook, and Captain of the ship of course.

Before you set sail, be sure to check out the new animated series, Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, on Disney XD.

Or you know, the Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel version debuting on Aug. 16. on the Disney Channel.
