Exclusive The Pirate Fairy First Look: “You Gotta Love the Boots”

Exclusive 'The Pirate Fairy' First Look: "You Gotta Love the Boots" | BabbleIf your kids are anything like mine, then Disney Fairy superfans is a pretty good descriptor.

And if you’re anything like me, uberfan is probably pretty accurate in terms of your reaction whenever anyone mentions Christina Hendricks or Tom Hiddleston.

So, good.

Because all of that and more is part of The Pirate Fairy, Disney’s newest animated adventure about a misunderstood dust-keeper named Zarina (voiced by Christina Hendricks) and her young pirate friend James (voiced by Tom Hiddleston).

After Zarina steals Pixie Hollow’s sacred blue pixie dust, Tinker Bell and her friends set out on an epic journey to return it to its rightful place.

However, in the midst of their pursuit of Zarina, who has joined forces with James (he’ll eventually become Captain Hook, making this an origin story of sorts) and the pirates of Skull Rock, everything will be turned upside down as the fairies try to retrieve the blue pixie dust and make it back home in time to save Pixie Hollow.

It’s going to be a nailbiter for sure, and I for one, will be looking forward to wearing fairy wings. Because my preschooler has made it a must whenever we watch anything related to Tinker Bell. Consider her a method actor channeled into “active audience participant.”

Until then, check out Captain (?!) Zarina in action in this exclusive first look at a brand new clip called “You Gotta Love the Boots.”

Disney’s The Pirate Fairy comes to Blu-ray and Digital HD on April 1. Be sure to pre-order it now on
