Mickey’s Halloween Party Costume Tips

If you are attending Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland, congratulations. It is awesome!

One of the coolest things about Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland is that everyone dresses up in costume, even (especially?) the adults, and the atmosphere is alive with creativity and candy. My point is, if you are going to Mickey’s Halloween Party you owe it to yourself to wear a costume.

The hard part is deciding on which costume to wear. Should you be a Marvel superhero or a Star Wars character? What about a Muppet? The possibilities are endless and you really should consider a Muppet costume, because that would look great on you. But I digress. Basically, there are so many costume ideas out there that many of us could use a bit of help in the picking process. Luckily, Disneyland’s Facebook page has issued some very cute costume tips to help Mickey’s Halloween Party be safe and fun for everyone, but also to answer some of the questions you may have in regard to your potential outfit.

Check them out and dress up right, and be sure to like Disneyland on Facebook¬†while you’re at it!

Whether it is your costume, a favorite blanket, or a 3-year-old, anything dragged on the ground will a) become damaged, and b) cause a safety concern for others. This is true outside of the Disney Parks, too.

  • Please, No Sharp Objects 4 of 6

Sharp objects can poke, prick, or otherwise injure those around you, not to mention yourself or the balloons. Think of the balloons!

  • Be Sure You Can Clearly See All the Fun 5 of 6

If your vision is obstructed by your costume you may bump into something (or someone) you shouldn't, get lost, or miss seeing something awesome. None of those are fun.

  • Remember to Wear Comfortable Shoes 6 of 6

Mickey's Halloween Party is best traveled by foot (although broomsticks are nice, too), and that means comfort is an absolute must. Those pointy shoes may look great, but they won't feel it after a few hours of spooky magic and trick-or-treating.
