New Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff Video Game, the Name Says It All

Phineas and Ferb video gameDisney’s D23 Expo was full of wonderful Disney everything, but if I were pressed to admit what part of the experience was our family favorite, I would have to say the Disney Interactive pavilion.

It was there that my kids first experienced Disney Infinity, which has apparently changed their respective lives, Disney’s Fantasia: Music Evolved, the DuckTales Remastered video game, and another new title that totally surprised us: Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff (Majesco Entertainment).

Cool stuff, indeed.

It’s no secret that our family loves us some Phineas and Ferb. We have spent time with the cast (that’s me and my boys with Alyson Stoner (Isabella) and Ashley Tisdale (Candace) pictured below) and creators, fired an all-you-can-eat’s worth of waffles from the Waffle-inator at D23, and even hung out with Perry the Platypus. You read that right.

But we hadn’t heard of Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff until we wandered into the Disney Interactive pavilion at Disney’s D23 Expo. And we love surprises!

Needless to say, a new Phineas and Ferb video game is big news in our house, and deservedly so. The boys played it until I bribed them with something shiny.

The new video game features all of the Phineas and Ferb favorites in an attempt to … well, the name pretty much tells you what they are attempting. It’s a quest for cool stuff, and nobody does cool like Phineas and Ferb (although my boys give it their best shot).

In Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff, you can play as Phineas, Ferb, or Perry/Agent P and interact with Candace, Isabella, Buford, Baljeet, and of course, Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Exploring and action ensue.

Watch out for the Norm Bots!

If you are wondering about the floating baby head, don’t worry, it’s in there!

Do you plan on helping Phineas and Ferb in their quest for cool stuff? The game is available now.
