15 of Our Favorite Celebrity Baby Names That Start with the Letter “C”

Everyone has an opinion on baby names. When we hear someone is expecting, our thoughts immediately jump to the name. Do you know what you want to name your kid already? Will it honor your favorite grandmother? How are you going to spell it? We’re just so fascinated by the whole baby-naming process. We actually consider ourselves to be baby name experts by now, so we’ve decided to shine a light on some of our favorites.

In honor of the arrival of our favorite little princess, Her Royal Highness Charlotte, we’re rounding up our favorite celebrity baby names that start with the letter “C.”

1. Charlotte

We’re admittedly obsessed with the Princess of Cambridge (hey — Cambridge could be a cute “C” name!) but she isn’t the first famous baby to claim this name. She shares her moniker with both Sarah Michelle Gellar’s and Chelsea Clinton’s daughters.

2. Camden

Nick and Vanessa Lachey’s sweet little boy is named after the Beverly Hills location of their doctor’s office: Camden Drive. They originally liked Colin, but were inspired one day after one of their frequent doctor’s visits. Proof that baby name inspiration can truly come from anywhere.

3. Cree

This name is so original — definitely not one you’ll hear very often. By definition it means “traveling warrior,” which is exactly why Tia Mowry selected it for her firstborn son.

4. Clementine

Move over, GP. There’s a new fruit-inspired baby name in town. We’re loving the super trendy moniker of Ethan Hawke and Ryan Shawhughes’ daughter. We can’t help but wonder if her favorite fruit and color is orange …

5. Cruz

The Beckham brood all have interesting names, but this week it’s Cruz stealing the spotlight. The name of Victoria and David’s adorable third son translates to “cross.” Watch out ladies, this little guy is sure to be a heartbreaker in the near future.

6. Colette

Dean McDermott and Shiva Rose’s teenager has a beautiful name. Colette has such a classy Parisian feel to it — we can’t help but have a little name jealousy.

7. Cosima

We’re obsessed with the this 5-year-old’s name. Model Claudia Schiffer and her husband, Matthew Vaughn, love names that start with “C.” We can’t blame them, there are plenty of fabulous choices.

8. Caspar

Speaking of Claudia Schiffer’s children, we also love her son’s moniker. This name oozes cool.

9. Cricket

Busy Philipps is known for taking the path less traveled when it comes to naming her kids, and this one is no different. It actually took her over a week after having her daughter to settle on the name Cricket. The hospital called and told them they had to come back and provide a name!

10. Charlene

Tennis superstar Roger Federer and his wife have TWO sets of twins. Good thing they’re excellent at picking out awesome names. We love the southern feel of his daughter Charlene’s moniker.

11. Carys

Isn’t this name oddly soothing to say? We’re sure you’re saying it out loud now … sorry about that. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas must have known a thing or two about baby names when they selected this one for their daughter.

12. Charlie

We love this name for a little girl. Wouldn’t this be a cute nickname for Charlotte, too? Regardless, it was a perfect fit for one of Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell’s twin girls. She’s actually named after her uncle, Charlie O’Connell, who appeared on The Bachelor!

13. Coco

Coco Arquette’s first name is a tribute to her mother, Courteney Cox.  It’s a subtle way to connect her name to her mother’s, and we think it’s very sweet. Like mother like daughter, right?

14. Cleo

We must have Friends on the brain, because we also think David Schwimmer’s daughter’s name is awesome. The 3-year-old shares a namesake with the fabulous Cleopatra. Who honestly wouldn’t want that?

15. Cheyenne

This celebrity kid ended up with a pretty tame first name despite her dad being rocker Chris Robinson. We think he and wife Allison Bridges chose well with this “C” name.

And don’t miss these 17 other celebrity baby names we’re obsessed with!
