We don’t know about you, but we’ve had Adele’s new single “Hello” on loop since the moment it came out. Heck, we’re listening to it right now as we write this. Adele is our own personal musical God and we feel no shame worshipping at her alter. And we know we’re not alone here. The Internet absolutely exploded with some pretty intense reactions when the song was released:
Even Ellen Degeneres took the opportunity to spoof the song on her show:
And don’t even get us started on that woman who texted her ex-boyfriend the lyrics to the song, confusing the hell out of him but delighting the rest of the world.
But our favorite response hands-down is this Vine, uploaded by user Abdel-Nasser Hijaz on November 3. In it, Hijaz sits on a couch next to his son Jalal. And well, no explanation is necessary. Let’s just say little Jalal has the most honest, hilarious response to the song that puts all our tearful karaoke sessions to shame:
