Alicia Silverstone Wore Her Iconic Outfit from ‘Clueless’ Again and We’re Totally Buggin’

I don’t care who you are — if you were alive in the ’90s, chances are you dreamed about owning Cher Horowitz’s entire wardrobe from Clueless. Because her sense of style was like, way cool guys!

I mean, was there anything more awesome than watching her stroll into school in that yellow plaid skirt and jacket combo, complete with knee-high socks and platform shoes? All while talking on her “mobile” phone? Probably not. (Unless you count watching her scroll through her inventory of clothing on her very own PC, which OMG, was the coolest.)

Well, it seems the girl who taught us everything we needed to know about fashion, boys, and hitting parked cars getting our driver’s license was brought back to life this week, thanks to her real-life counter-part Alicia Silverstone, who apparently still owns the costume. The actress wore the outfit on an upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle, and later stopped for a behind-the-scenes photo with show commentator Chrissy Teigen and her daughter Luna.

Lucky for us, Teigen blessed the Internet by sharing the snapshot on Twitter yesterday, where fans (obviously) freaked over seeing Silverstone in the same iconic outfit she wore 22 years ago.

And judging by how many people liked this photo, the look clearly hasn’t gone out of style. (As if!) Teigen’s tweet has racked up 37K likes and 1.9K retweets since she posted it yesterday, and tons of excited commentary.

“How am I supposed to sleep?” Teigen captioned her post. “I think I’ve asked for 2 photos in my entire life. @AliciaSilv and beyonce”

We totally feel you, Chrissy!

Over on Instagram, Warner Bros. Entertainment executive also shared a photo from the night:

How much do you wish you were rollin’ with THESE homies? (Sorry, I had to.)

Whatever, I guess I’ll have to settle for playing my old VHS copy of Clueless tonight and subtly dropping movie quotes into casual conversations.

Thank you, Alicia for making all of our ’90s dreams come true.
