You’d think that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have enough on their plates between juggling six kids and their demanding work schedules, but alas, the newly married couple is surprising us yet again. In between Angie’s immense task of directing the Oscar®-snubbed film Unbroken and Brad’s critically-acclaimed performance in Fury, it’s reported that the couple have been focusing on expanding their family, too.
According to Woman’s Day Australia, Angelina and Brad are preparing to adopt another child, a 2-year-old boy named Moussa from war-torn Syria.
Angelina first met the toddler, who’s currently marooned in the Altinozu refugee camp in Turkey, during one of her U.N. ambassador visits. The actress was seen wiping tears from her eyes when the little boy came up to give her a hug, and the pair were inseparable for the rest of her visit. We can’t say we blame her, toddler love has a magical power all of its own.
If the rumors are true, Moussa would join 13-year-old Maddox adopted from Cambodia, 11-year-old Pax adopted from Vietnam, and 9-year-old Zahara adopted from Ethiopia, along with 8-year-old Shiloh and 5-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
While adopting another child is commendable all in its own, we’re even more impressed because it means that Angie and Brad would have SEVEN children all under the age of 14. Our minds are reeling just thinking about it. But really, if any Hollywood couple can handle it, we’d say it’s this pair.
