These Newborns Dressed as Baby Disney Villains Are the Perfect Halloween Treat

Editor’s Note: Babble is a part of the Walt Disney Company.

Something adorably wicked this way comes … Just in time for Halloween, Babble teamed up with photographer Karen Marie of Belly Beautiful Portraits to transform eight sleeping newborns into baby Disney villains — and we cannot stop squeeing.

The photo shoot represented the famously evil characters that, let’s be honest, add excitement to our favorite childhood movies.

And we think they succeeded, thanks to Marie, her team, and intricately designed accessories that give the photos their edge.

The costumes featured in the photos were made by Sew Trendy Accessories and the little felt characters were custom-made by Off My Hooks (Marie says Flostsam and Jetsam, the eels from Ursula’s shoot, were her favorite!). Marie then made all of the other props herself, including Jafar and Gaston’s chairs and Ursula’s spell bowl.

Photographing eight babies at one time is an incredible feat but if anyone can do it, it’s Karen.

Karen first went viral earlier this year when she turned six babies into the original Disney Princesses — Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. Then, she did it again, turning six new babies into Rapunzel, Mulan, Tiana, Elena, Moana, and Pocahontas.

But as we all know, there are no heroes without villains, so — at least for Halloween — we think they deserve some love, too.
