4-Year-Old and Dad Sing Charming Duet of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”

We will never tire of listening to 4-year-old Claire Ryann Crosby and her dad Dave Crosby’s sing-a-longs. The latest in their repertoire? Toy Story‘s classic hit, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” In just six days, the video has amassed over 1.8 million views on YouTube — and it’s clear to see why.

If Claire and Dave seem familiar to you, you’ve probably seen one of their previous viral videos. They’re known not just for their incredible acoustic covers, but their flashy videos, too. With custom-made costumes, gorgeous scenery, and tons of extras when needed, Claire has previously brought to life hits from Tangled, Mulanand most recently, Beauty and the Beast.

Last year, Dave told Babble that their duo all began with a simple nightly tradition, and evolved from there:

Ever since Claire was born I have sung her the exact same song every night before bed. One night, when she was around 16 months, she joined me and started singing to me out of nowhere. She sang the entire song perfectly in tune and knew every word. It was amazing.”

Now, Claire is very involved in choosing the songs, recording them, and putting together the accompanying music videos. And all that work has paid off. With over 98k followers on YouTube and an astounding 23.5 million total views, the Internet just can’t get enough of them.

As always, we can’t wait to see what these two have up their sleeves next.
