It’s no secret that people are all about rose gold right now. When it comes to Disney, I personally find that I have no self-restraint when it comes to buying everything featuring this gorgeous rosy color.
I’ve already gladly handed my wallet (and soul) over, purchasing rose gold Minnie Mouse ears and the sparkly Disney Parks spirit jersey. (What kind of millennial would I be if I hadn’t!?) These items aren’t just wants — they’re needs.
Well, now Walt Disney World is taking this generation’s rose gold obsession to a delicious new level. There are spots all over the Florida parks where you can indulge in sweet treat that will energize you with rose-colored sugar rush.
At Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, you will find a vanilla cupcake with hazelnut swirl, rose gold buttercream, sparkling fondant Minnie ears, edible glitter, and chocolate pearls. Are you drooling yet? Because I sure am.
And this isn’t the only decadent rose gold-themed cupcake you’ll find at Walt Disney World! Magic Kingdom has a Rose Gold Red Velvet Swirl Cupcake (say that ten times fast) topped with a rose gold Minnie at Main Street Bakery. Not to be outdone, Hollywood Studios‘ Trolley Car Cafe has a Strawberry Rose Gold Cupcake with strawberry icing and crispy pearls.
You can find even more rose gold delectables within the many resorts on the property. There are cupcakes to be found at the Contemporary Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music, Disney’s Saratoga Springs, and Disney’s Old Key West Resort.
The most magical cupcake of all (in my opinion) can be located at Disney’s Grand Floridian. It’s a rose gold UNICORN, combining all of the best trends in the form of a rose gold sponge cake with hazelnut cream cheese filling.
And let us not forget to give Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort a shout-out. The resort has not one, but TWO rose gold cupcakes (one of which is filled with guava pastry cream). But if you simply can’t savor any more sweets, fear not! There are rumors that the resort is adding a Rose Gold Margarita with a lime and gold sugar rim to their drink lineup.
I don’t know about you, but I’m booking a flight to Walt Disney World ASAP to go on a rose gold dessert crawl. Who’s with me?!
