Your Backstage Pass to Victoria Beckham’s Fashion Show in NYC!

Victoria Beckham managed a smile at the end of her catwalk show during New York Fashion Week. No wonder, as handsome husband David Beckham sat in the front row, alongside Vogue editor Anna Wintour and the Beckham brood: sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz; and daughter, Harper.

Earlier in the day Victoria tweeted a card showing a good luck note from her family, calling the picture a “beautiful message from my babies.”

Her collection featured pleated shirts and skirts, ruffled tops, and loosely cut sleeveless jackets featuring chain details. “It’s all 360 degrees — nothing is flat,” she said in a post-show interview backstage. “You look at a structured coat from the front, and then from the back you see this beautiful pleat. Or you’re looking at a dress, and then the whole back is missing.”

Victoria also nixed the idea that the family will be moving to Miami, where David plans to become owner of a Major League Soccer franchise. “Just because David has a club in Miami doesn’t mean we are moving to Miami. We’re based in London and that’s where the kids go to school.”

It was the Beckham boys first ever front row seat at a fashion show, with Victoria explaining, “Mummy works, and Daddy works. We think that’s a positive message, and we wanted the boys to see what it is that Mummy does, because they’d never been to a show before.”  She added that the older children “are taking one-and-a-half days off school for this trip, which is really unusual; we don’t usually do that.”

After the show, David took Victoria and the family to lunch at Balthazar for a much-deserved celebration.

Victoria plans to open a 7,000 sq. ft. boutique on London’s prestigious Dover Street later this year. So pull up a seat and enjoy the back stage pass below, courtesy of Victoria herself ( as she constantly uploaded pics on Twitter all day).
