Michael Bublé Releases Update on Son with Cancer, Says Doctors Are “Very Optimistic”

There is nothing more excruciating for a parent than to be told their child is sick. Which is why we were collectively heartbroken when Michael Bublé revealed that his son Noah, 3, was battling cancer this past November. Now, we’ve learned that Noah is on the way to being cancer-free.

Bublé broke the good news on his Facebook page this morning, eliciting cheers of joy from the comment section (and all of our office).

In the statement, Bublé said:

“We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy. He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage.”

Bublé continued, “We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Our thoughts are certainly still with the family, who have made significant changes in their lives to care for their son. When they first learned the news, Bublé had just begun rehearsals for his 2017 tour. At the time, they thought Noah was suffering from mumps. When they discovered the truth, they decided to put everything on hold to focus on his treatment.

In a previous statement Bublé said, “Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.”

We’re sure Noah has had a very difficult time battling this disease, as well as his family. It’s truly heartwarming to hear that this little guy is doing better.
