Mere days after we were spoiled with new portraits of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, we now get an even more personal look at the future King of England — in his pajamas, no less!
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are in the U.K. today visiting with the royal family. This morning, they met with Queen Elizabeth for a belated birthday lunch at Windsor Castle, and tonight they stopped for dinner at Kensington Palace with Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
While there, the President and First Lady were treated to a surprise appearance from Prince George, 2, dressed for bed in blue pajamas and a very cozy, very dapper-looking white robe.
Shown atop a rocking horse, Prince George was apparently thanking the Obamas for the gift they had given him when he was born.
Sadly, we may never know if little Charlotte owns a matching robe and pink pajamas because according to a palace source via PEOPLE magazine, “George stayed up for a few minutes when the President and the First Lady arrived, but Charlotte was in bed.”
And no, that’s not Bo making himself comfortable on a Kensington Palace ottoman. It’s just the plush version of Bo that was given to Prince George in the past by the Obamas. (Though, wouldn’t that have just been perfect if he had come along too?)More On
