Queen Elizabeth Holds Princess Charlotte in New Portrait Featuring All the Youngest Royals

Is it the Queen’s birthday or is it our birthday? Because all of these recent royal updates seem like more of a gift to us than to Her Majesty!

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s royal portrait release — featuring Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George — we now have another, this time featuring Queen Elizabeth and all five of her great-grandchildren, as well as her two youngest grandchildren.

Sitting front-row and center on her “Gan-Gan’s” lap, is little Princess Charlotte, wearing pink to match her grandmother. Alongside the two royal ladies are, from left: James, Viscount Severn, 8, Lady Louise, 12, Mia Tindell, Savannah Phillips, 5, Prince George, 2, and Isla Phillips, 4.

According to PEOPLE, the portrait was taken in the Green Drawing Room of Windsor Castle by photographer Annie Leibovitz and was a “lovely jolly affair.”

And while Princess Charlotte is definitely the star of the photo (as the baby of the family always is!) we gotta give props to little Mia for posing with the Queen’s signature purse. Could she look more adorable imitating her grandmother?! We think not.
